December!

Dear Readers,

This is just a brief news post to welcome you to this glorious month of December and to say that:

1) NaNoWriMo is over for this year and my novel, The Dream made it to 50,036 words in that time, making me a NaNo Winner for the first time.

Very exciting.  The novel will continue, but in the meantime;

2) Shadow is back on track.  You will hopefully have noticed with much rejoicing that Shadow was not interrupted by my NaNo noveling, but I had only written enough to see me through to the end of Novemeber.  Now I am pleased to say that a new, post-NaNo episode is up (Episode XLV - Doctor Grisftinkel's Discovery) and more are on their way, including, hopefully, a Shadow Christmas Special to be published on Christmas Day.  Details are still vague at the moment, but if NaNo has taught me anything it's that I can write an awful lot more than I thought I could in a short space of time without, really, breaking much of a sweat, so I should just get on with it.

So, that's all.  Happy Advent and enjoy the SNOW! if any has fallen near you so far.  Remember, it may become a nuisance very quickly, but if you don't enjoy it when it first falls then you're just allowing yourself to be miserable all winter, rather than just some of it.
